Today whole Nature is suffering from coronavirus (Covid19). About 188+ countries are affected.353692+ people were infected globally and 47,48,356+ people have died from this virus. As we can see on television and read in the newspaper that many districts, cities, and countries are lockdowns due to this virus. Due to this lockdown working of industries is stopped as a result the scale of pollution is decreasing. It seems as

From 1720 to 1723 a great plague takes
place in Marseille and its surroundings in which 100,000 peoples have died. It
is estimated that over 30% of its population may have perished. Archaeologist
estimates that the great plague of Marseille had been started when a ship named
as Grand-Saint-Antoine docked in France and Marseille carrying goods from the
eastern Mediterrane. After all, Marseille gets infected for 3 years.
After the Great Plague of Marseille a the plague spreads in Moscow, Russia.
That time as many as 100,000 people may have
died from 1770- 1772. That time the empress of Russia Catherine 2 issued an
order that all industries and factories should move from Moscow. From 1918-1920
a disease spread named as Spanish Flu. From this disease, most of the people that
are infected are soldiers during World War 1. Despite the name Spanish Flu,
the disease did not start in Spain.
But
it got name Spanish Flu Because Spain was a neutral nation during the World War
and did not enforce the strictness of the press. As a result, the press was free
to publish an early account of illness. Due to this the people freely believed
that the illness was specific to Spain.
Many poisonous gases are diffused from
factories and our vehicles. Most of the gases are Carbon Dioxide, Sodium
Dioxide etc… also leads to global warming which increases the temperature.
And the deposition of waste materials in water and soil from the factories
leads to water and soil pollution respectively. The burning of fossil fuels in
cars, bikes, trucks, automobiles, etc... Leads to the production of Sodium Dioxide,
Sulfur Dioxide and other poisonous gases which results in air pollution and
increases the quantity of SPM (Suspended Particulate Matter).
On amid of COVID-19, many countries are
lockdown. As result industries (factories) are not working and cars are not
running on the road. Moreover, the poisonous smoke which comes from cars and
industries and pollutes the air is no polluting the air and the scale of air
pollution is also decreasing. The waste material which was disposed of from the
factories and dumped in rivers also stopped. In Uttar Pradesh, all 19 Sugar
Mills are stopped. The smoke produced by the burning of fossil fuels is also
stopped. And it seems like nature is healing itself.
