“Natyadeep Foundation” India is stands committed to aesthetically innovative and socially relevant theatre. Since its inception in 1993, NATYADEEP has carved a niche for itself in the Indian theatre scene by staging plays of varied socio political interest while not losing out mass appeal. The group takes up contemporary issues to underline the contours of our time while providing the best of entertainment. The group has mounted 28 productions and organized 19 All India Theatre and Folk/classical Dance festival “NATYADEEP RANGOTSAV,” 7 Sambhagiya/Rajya Natya Samaroh (UPSNA) collaboration with Districts Administration Bijnor, street plays and many exhibitions on fine arts in the past years also. We providing many social and charitable opportunities, skill development programme for its artists/volunteers/interns-

1-    To promote the general interests of professional folk performers on the basis of their own needs, requirements, and visions of the future, while guarding the democratic functioning of the organization.

2-    To stimulate the cooperation and exchange between rural & urban performers at the organizational and the artistic level.

3-    To explore the artistic potential of various Indian Folk/Classical forms and to improve the quality of performances.

4-    To involve the younger generation in the theatre so as to ensure the continuity of the tradition.

5-    To make expertise in theatre and the communication networks which the theatre commands available to other organizations and persons.

6-    To stimulate the exchange between folk performers and representatives of other theatrical styles in and outside India. And

7-    Providing many social-cultural and charitable opportunities for its volunteers and interns.    

We try to realize the above as:-

Natyadeep Foundation dedicated to providing the info and inspiration needed to fundamentally change human attitude and behavior about socio-cultural environments through-

1. Provide basic training in folk/classical aimed at the younger generation and provision of advanced, specialized training for non-professional male and female performers.
2. The production of new plays featuring innovative and traditional themes.
3. Organizing annually “National Theatre Festival”.
4. The running of the Youth Theatre club.
5. We provide working out to individuals with the basic information, perspectives and steps you need to know to have a clear strategy tailored for social and cultural enhancement.

The implementation of these activities over the last years in existence has resulted in:-

1-      The identification and training of new talent and the participation of female performers in the theatre.

2-      The improvement of the standard of the performances.

3-      The creation of contemporary repertoire.

4-      The creation of awareness about the potential of folk forms as a powerful medium of communication through which contemporary themes can be addressed.

5-      A co-operation with folk performers in other regions of India & Abroad too.

“NATYADEEP” has a purpose of awakening the society to contemporary issue and creating a dialogue on prevailing social problems. Our many charitable events in order to increase the awareness and perception among the people to demonstrate protection measures of social, cultural and environmental issues as well as held on time to time. Our volunteer also involve in street Theatre & Literary Movement, Child Workshop, Drawing & Art Competition, Environmental Perception and Public Awareness etc.. The group performed Many street plays on different Socio-political issues too.
