·         SOCIAL & ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT

Social empowerment is understood as the process of developing a sense of autonomy and self-confidence, and acting individually and collectively to change social relationships and the institutions and discourses that exclude poor people and keep them in poverty. Poor people’s empowerment, and their ability to hold others to account, is strongly influenced by their individual assets (such as land, housing, livestock, savings) and capabilities of all types: human (such as good health and education), social (such as social belonging, a sense of identity, leadership relations) and psychological (self-esteem, self-confidence, the ability to imagine and aspire to a better future). Also important are people’s collective assets and capabilities, such as voice, organisation, representation and identity.

Economic empowerment is thought to allow poor people to think beyond immediate daily survival and to exercise greater control over both their resources and life choices. For example, it enables households to make their own decisions around making investments in health and education, and taking risks in order to increase their income. There is also some evidence that economic empowerment can strengthen vulnerable groups’ participation in the decision-making. For example, microfinance programmes have been shown to bolster women’s influence within the household and marketplace. The evidence also suggests that economic power is often easily ‘converted’ into increased social status or decision-making power.

·         ENVIORNS CONSERVATION

Earth Day - Every Day (22nd April):

If we exchange of ideas about health conditions and a better health environment, then we required personal sanitation and a well-ordered surrounding environment. Whether due to water related illnesses, polluted water, poor health and a special scope of poverty comes out due to the poor conditions of unclean water and cleanliness.

The water is polluted due to lack of sanitation. Polluted water means that due to the dirt, micro-organisms begin to grow. A survey reveals out of the world's 26 billion population, 40 percent of the basic cleaning facilities are shocked. More than one billion people in the world use polluted water to drink. Further diseases and poor health are directly related to dirty water, lack of cleanliness and unhealthy conditions.

·         COMMUNIY DISASTER MANAGEMENT

When the “country-wide lockdown” extended from March 22, 2020 in India:

The Covid-19 (Corona epidemic) is not only a health crisis, but also an economic crisis. The nervousness and distress created by Covid-19, especially among the poor, is unprecedented. It has also created a double burden for this group, the first being the loss of income and the second the loss of hopes or aspirations of the future. Economic damage is very difficult to estimate because no one knows how long the lockdown will last. Several predictions suggest that epidemics may last from a few months to a year in many countries and may also cause a series of infections. Today the lockdown has put a lot of pressure on India's economy. The escalation of the lockdown may intensify the economic recession and push the poor into the vicious cycle of poverty. It is this uncertainty that is no hope for the future among the poor.

The majority of India's population comes under the unorganized sector. In the meantime, almost all people from street vendors, contract workers, migrant workers, agricultural laborers and informal sector have been hit by this crisis, forcing them to give up their income. Individuals in developed countries with good social security can remain idle at home for some time, while in the case of Indian poor it is impossible to do so. The prevailing measures of lockdown can slow the spread of the disease but poor people cannot afford to remain idle at home. Many important and commendable steps by our governments in this direction such as pension, public distribution system, MNREGA, expansion of current food security schemes, doubling the monthly ration, providing ration at home instead of school meals, cash transfer for poor etc., are being raised to reach the poor and the weak. Which are highly appreciated in the society.

When the “country-wide lockdown” extended from March 22, 2020 in India, our laborers became disabled for livelihood. The owners of the establishments engaged in planning for compensating the profit loss. .... And the country's laborers empty pockets, hungry stomach forced to return to their region and went towards their village. Knowing the widespread global economic crisis, the general public and voluntary organizations of the country were selflessly engaged in providing essential food items for those workers from the resting place. According to his ability, he contributed as much as he could.

Whatever he got from the government, he accepted, but some people could not even register themselves under the hesitation. Such unregistered people were dying of starvation due to this epidemic. The volunteers of our organization helped such unregistered victims by identifying and giving them confidential funds in the form of immediate relief with respect. He was assured that we would not share this fact with anyone. This transition period or whenever you help us will be acceptable to us. After such assurance, he accepted our support amount and thanked to our colleagues.

·         ROAD SAFETY MOVEMENT

India is a developing country with the growing population. In the country during the last one and two decades the number of vehicles has expanded. Though there road networks is improving but increasing pressure on roads from expanded vehicles has serious safety issues. The present data about road accidents is not available, still, preliminary data indicate that Indian roads are witnessing complex incidence of road accidents.

So, in this references we are doing a play “Red Road” since last 5 years to give a road sense to our new comers driver or as youngster.

·         YOGA

Traditionally ‘YOGA’ practice has been a multicomponent discipline involving postures and physical exercises, breath regulation techniques and the control of attention and enhancement of mindful awareness through the practice of meditation but in our modern society has been often thought of as a form of physical exercise. These practices are accompanied by a distinct psychology and philosophy in the yoga life-style. Historically the YOGA practice had a spiritual discipline whose goal was spiritual advancement and these component practices were intended to create an ideal state of psychophysiological health and optimal functioning of body and mind in support of contemplative states of consciousness. However, in modern society, YOGA practices have been used in a more limited application in order to maintain physical fitness and psychological well-being and also as a therapeutic intervention for psychological and medical disorders, or so called “yoga therapy,” both of which have become highly popular in the general public internationally. Documented evidence for the systematic use of yoga as therapy appears in the early 20th century in India, and the popularity of yoga therapy has grown steadily both in India and worldwide.
